The Unexpected Challenge: Language Barrier
While Kendra was excited for her adventure, the first day didn’t go as smoothly as planned. She struggled with communication since the tour guide spoke only Arabic, making it hard for her to engage fully with the experience. Kendra shared her concern: “The guide cannot speak English at all, so it’s very hard to communicate.” We immediately recognized the issue and took action. Understanding how important communication is for a solo traveler, we worked tirelessly to find an English-speaking guide in Al Bahah Region. Our manager Ifrah, our founder Meraj, and I put in extra effort to resolve this issue overnight. After extensive searching, we finally secured an English-speaking translator for the next two days. Even though it came with additional costs, we hired the translator at no extra charge to Kendra, ensuring her experience improved drastically.A Remarkable Turnaround: Days 2 & 3
With the language barrier resolved, Kendra’s experience took a positive turn. She was now able to fully understand the significance of the places she was visiting. The guide explained every detail, making her trip more engaging and enjoyable.Day 3: A Personalized Experience
Initially, Kendra planned to leave Al Baha after two days but couldn’t find a flight to Al Ula or Dammam. Instead of letting her stay in town idle, we curated a special third-day itinerary just for her.Visit to Al Barouqi Farm
A scenic farm known for fresh produce, wandering through vibrant fields where fruits and vegetables grow in abundance, will give you a chance to experience the tranquility of farm life.Hike to Ain Jamal Waterfalls
Next we took her for a customer-favourite, the Ain Jamal Shallal Waterfalls hike, hikers set out on a quest to look for a gorgeous waterfall.Exploring Al-Hamda Waterfall
On her hike, Kendra came across Al-Hamda waterfall and took this picture which honestly does not do it's true beauty justice.
Complimentary breakfast once again to make her feel at home.
Kendra’s Final Thoughts
By the third day, Kendra was truly enjoying her time. She appreciated our efforts and acknowledged the difference between her first and last day. After getting the translator, she said, “Yes, she is good. I can go for tomorrow if there is a translator too.” This was a big relief for us, as we had gone the extra mile to ensure she had a wonderful trip.Going the Extra Mile: Ensuring a Smooth Departure
On her last day, there was one final hiccup – her driver had difficulty finding the international terminal at the airport. Kendra contacted us in frustration, and we immediately got involved, coordinating with the driver to ensure she reached the airport safely and on time. “I already reached the airport. Thanks. He was driving around for ages before I called you.” Although there was a minor inconvenience, we were glad that she made it to her flight safely. Conclusion: A Lesson in Customer Care
