Join 365 Adventures for an unforgettable off-road adventure in the stunning Dhofar Mountains with Team 365 Adventures! We kick off this full-day safari by hopping into powerful 4X4 vehicles, ready to take on the rugged terrain.

Our first stop is the picturesque village of Taqa, where we’ll make a photo pit-stop to capture the breathtaking panoramic view from high above the Taqah Plateau. You’ll feel like you’re on top of the world as you soak in the beauty that surrounds you.

From there, we delve into the enchanting ‘evergreen Wadi Darbat’. Get ready for a leisurely stroll along the Wadi bed, immersing yourself in nature’s tranquility. Keep your eyes peeled for herds of camels, goats, and cattle that roam freely in this oasis. And if you’re lucky enough to join us during the Khareef season, you’ll be mesmerized by the magnificent 100m waterfall, gracefully flowing into the lakes amidst lush green vegetation.

Prepare to be awestruck as we make our next stop at the world-renowned Sink Holes of Tawi Attair, famously known as the “Well of Birds”. We then continue our journey into the Jebel Samhan mountain range, where a breathtaking plateau awaits us at a staggering height of almost 1700 meters. Prepare to be blown away by the panoramic view offered by this Dhofar Grand Canyon. With the sparkling east coast on one side and the vast Qara mountain range on the other, this is a sight that will leave you in awe.

As you soak in the beauty of this natural wonder, you will treated to a sumptuous picnic lunch. Savour its tantalizing flavors while surrounded by this awe-inspiring landscape – a truly unforgettable dining experience.

After satisfying your taste buds, we drive onward from the plateau into the stunning Qara mountain range. This scenic route takes us through charming Jebali villages and landscapes that will leave you reaching for your camera at every turn. Don’t worry, we’ll make plenty of photo stops at intriguing locations so you can capture the memories forever.

As the day winds down, we’ll conclude our adventure and return to Salalah by evening, taking with us memories of an extraordinary day spent exploring the Dhofar Mountains.
