Day 01

Start your day at 8:00 AM with a 4WD adventure to Ras Al Junaiz, following the picturesque coastal route. This tour showcases stunning views of the Gulf of Oman’s blue waters against pristine white beaches. Pass by the fishing village of Quriyat and spot Flamingos and Eagles near an inland stream. Explore the serene Wadi Arabayeen with its water-filled pockets among date palms. Next, discover the enchanting Bimah sinkhole, a limestone crater with mesmerizing blue-green water. On sunny days, you might even spot sharks in the deep waters or agile Gazelles sprinting along the coast.

Arrive in Sur to visit the traditional dhow factory and witness breathtaking ocean views on the mountainous road ahead. After reaching Sur, visit the fish jetty and dhow factory. Following a set menu lunch at Sur Plaza Hotel, your journey continues to Ras Al Junaiyz, a haven for green turtles. Enjoy dinner at the hotel before a guided beach walk at night to witness turtles nesting in the sands. Experience an overnight stay at Ras Al Jinz Scientific and Visitor Centre.

Day 02

Start your day at 8:00 AM with a visit to Wadi Bani Khalid. This charming destination boasts picturesque villages nestled among mountains and features crystal-clear deep blue water. Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes for the best experience.

Next, explore the Wahiba Sands, a sprawling expanse of red and white sand dunes, reaching up to 200 meters in height. These ever-shifting dune patterns are a photographer’s dream. Brace yourself for a roller-coaster-like ride as our skilled drivers navigate the dunes. In these sands reside the hospitable Bedouin tribe, known for their deep connection with the land. We’ll visit a Bedouin family in their traditional habitat. Enjoy a set menu lunch at Al Sharqiyah Sands hotel before we return to Muscat around 5:30 PM.

Note

Always maintain a safe distance from turtles emerging from the sea or nesting
Keep an eye out for hatchlings that might be disoriented and help guide them back to the ocean
Ensure you leave no waste behind on the beach
Please refrain from creating noise around the nesting areas
The use of flashlights is not allowed; for optimal photos, consider the early morning around 5:30 AM

Bring lightweight pullovers in dark colors for your comfort
Pack only one small overnight bag due to limited space available
