We hear you! Sometimes, all you need is to connect with empowering women and enjoy quality time together—it's truly therapeutic. With that in mind, I reached out to two vibrant and strong women communities based in Doha. What’s inspiring is that both groups include like minded women of all ages from 18 to 40+ each eager to share the joy of kayaking and creating a supportive environment. Trip Overview

On April 26th, during a stunning sunset, approximately 20 women originally from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and India, collectively making a sweet little family away from home in Doha, gathered for a refreshing kayaking session. Our friendly & helpful instructors and tour guides provided beginner-friendly instructions at the outset, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and confident. Even those who had never paddled before geared up, learned quickly and enjoyed gliding across the water. It was inspiring to see women of all ages mastering their paddling skills and enjoying this exciting new activity. Although the ladies were expecting the evening to be challenging but this outdoor activity was not only exciting but also informative and knowledgeable. Outdoors' activity like kayaking & paddling activity gives a lesson of keeping a balance, staying focused and also taking deep breaths and enjoy the sight. Two women paddling in colorful kayaks on a calm body of water under a clear blue sky. Some group members also tried their hand at stand-up paddleboarding, adding even more fun and adventure to the day. One might think SUP is the hardest activity - but in reality it's not, most boundaries are just self-made inside our minds. It takes gradual courage - and from sitting on the paddle board and then slowly gathering up the courage and then you stand up - you realize it wasn't hard at all. And actually it was a pretty amazing and great experience. You get to take nice photos and improve content. When asked for the review, one attendee shared I was scared of falling into the water. I'm not skilled at swimming but the helpful guides gave the safety equipment and created a safer experience for all of us. Plus A2I family made sure our visit to MIA Park with 365 Adventures is one of the most memorable ones. After the kayaking session, participants eagerly networked, exchanged ideas, and shared their experiences with new friends. The event created a warm, inviting and informative environment for meaningful stories, helping attendees share interesting information and expand their personal and professional networks. It was a wonderful example of outdoor social activities fostering community building and lasting connections among women from diverse backgrounds. And one thing that brought all of us together was - Passion For Tourism & Learning A woman paddles a stand-up paddleboard on calm water, enjoying a sunny day outdoors. We are truly proud to have supported and been part of a community like Aspire2Inspire, which champions women’s empowerment, personal growth, and social connection through inspiring events. This day not only celebrated adventure and friendship but also reinforced our commitment to empowering women and fostering a supportive, global community. "What a day!! Loved meeting all the ladies. This place and the kayaking activity - it was fun and exciting. We need to have more events like these in the future. NGL I'll book again."

Kayaking Plus Potluck Event

Hangoutspots x 365 Adventures - Al Mafjar Mangroves

Behind The Scenes

Sometime in the middle of March, the organizer of Hangoutspots Community Events & Tours reached out to us, sharing how her group loves to travel and explore new activities and places. That’s when I knew this community would enjoy experiencing Al Mafjar Mangroves trip. Many people have been living in Qatar for years but haven’t visited this hidden spot, which is just an hour away from Doha. Al Mafjar Mangroves offers a vibe similar to a National Geographic wildlife documentary, with the mangrove forest surrounded on all sides by lush greenery and a wide variety of unique fauna, including seasonal flamingos and herons. Our great guides share fascinating information throughout the paddling trip, intended to ensure guests have a amazing and great time together. Hangoutspots x 365 Adventures - Al Mafjar Mangroves

The Itinerary

An Hour And A Half Trip From Doha
After weeks and weeks of coordination and marketing initiatives, on the event day - the girls started their journey along a scenic route from a common point in Doha. With our comfortable and air-conditioned transport, we made sure all the friends had a smooth trip.
Kayaking
The girls captured Instagrammable pictures of the site throughout their one and a half hour of travelling. After reaching the destination (it gave vibes of an island & a coast). It was almost sunset, the blend of sea green colored water and wildlife trees gave a beautiful view. Our guides gave instructions in detail and made sure everyone learns and successfully paddles without stress and fear. The girls kayaked and took aesthetic videos and photos and shared laughs & quality time. A person kayaking through lush green mangroves, surrounded by tranquil waters and vibrant foliage.

I mean if you are looking for a Traditional Qatari hospitality during kayaking tours - you can count on us. And fortunately I came across this event at the right time. The nature is at its peak at the Al Mafjar Mangroves trip" A vibrant red rug laid flat on the ground, adding a pop of color to the surrounding area. Future Events

In the past, I organized an exciting Yoga event in Ramadan. We hosted around 40 people at the Inland Sea. I'm planning to host another community event but this time for our Women In Tech / STEM employed at different companies across Qatar. All ladies working in software and engineering departments, focused on improving Meta products to make browsers and sites work better. They can keep an eye on our platform for future events—maybe we will have dinner at an island or near the sea. Two women in bright yellow outfits stand confidently atop a sand dune, with a clear blue sky in the background. The event will include storytelling, maps, stretching, and yoga to enrich the spirit and foster community. It’s a great chance to start off on new stories, share your account, and grow both personally and professionally in a relaxed environment.

My Experience as a Community Event Organizer

Honestly, this was an amazing opportunity for me to support women's communities and organize an exciting day out for the girls. Saw their smiles in post-event photos and felt super accomplished. Excited to host more events like this in the future. Stay tuned, everyone! Two women standing on the sand, each with their hands on their faces, expressing surprise or contemplation.
